Cast
The two main characters in the film Hot Fuzz, Nicholas Angel and PC Danny Butterman, are played by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Nicholas Angel is the best constable in London and this made his colleagues look bad, so he is transferred to Sanford, a place with the lowest crime rate in England. Danny Butterman is his partner whose dad is the chief of the constables in Sandford, and he is very interested in shooting movies, and is constantly question Angel about what he has done in London. Other notable members of the cast include Martin Freeman and Bill Nighy.
Location
At the start of the film, Nicholas Angel is based in London, working for the Metropolitan Police, but is then transferred to the countryside to Sandford.
Stereotypes
The main stereotype that is present in the film is that of a relaxed person, living in the country, happy with just an easy day to day life. Angels stereotype is that of someone who works hard and who always wants to be the best and do the right thing.

Humour
Humour is a main theme throughout the whole film. They use a lot of repetition, odd jokes and puns to create humour. A lot of the jokes are derived from the perception of the police.
Camera work and editing
Throughout the film there are mainly face-shots of the main characters. They also use a fast pace to represent an exciting event.
Hot Fuzz targets a British through humour. Most of the jokes that are made are based around the British representation of the police force and how people live in the countryside.
